Starting with online piano tuition early lockdown, I have now been teaching piano for over three years. While in-person teaching is optimal, I am always happy to teach online should a student require it.

Preferring the ABRSM graded approach (due to personal bias) I have guided students to achieve the grades they deserve. Many students also wanted to explore alternative graded approaches such as Rock School, Trinity, and Music Teachers Board, to name a few.

Not long after I started teaching I was given the great opportunity to continue professionally what I already had years of experience doing in university; accompanying graded performances for solo instrumentalists. Not only did I help get students of a range of grades, abilities, and ages ready for their exam performances, but I also assisted the tuition of their aural skills, which can be a very difficult area for lots of learning musicians.
